This website is operated by Vulcan Refractories Limited (referred to as "Vulcan/we/our/us"). As user of this website (referred to as "you/your") you acknowledge that any use of this website, including any transactions you make, is subject to our terms and conditions.

Order Process

Having submitted your order, payment and delivery details to us, we will then send you a Receipt by email detailing the products you have ordered, order value and delivery information. Please note that this email is not an order confirmation or order acceptance from us.

Acceptance of your order and the completion of the contract between us will take place on despatch to you of the products ordered unless we have notified you that we do not accept your order or you have cancelled it.

Please print out your email Receipt for your own records.

Delivery

This website is only for delivery of products to customers in the UK and Northern Ireland addresses.

All goods will be delivered by Royal Mail Recorded Delivery and must be signed for by an adult aged 18 years or over on delivery.

We make every effort to deliver goods within the estimated timescales. However, delays are sometimes inevitable due to unforeseen factors. We shall be under no liability for any delay or failure to deliver the products within estimated timescales.

Please make sure that you check your item(s) carefully before it is used. We also recommend that you keep your email Receipt, as you will need it as proof of purchase in the event of any after-sales queries or returns.

Risk of loss and damage of the product(s) ordered passes to you on the date when the product(s) is delivered to you

Payment

The price you pay is the price displayed on this website at the time we receive your order.

Title to any product(s) you order on this website shall pass to you on delivery of the product(s) provided that we have processed and received payment in full for the product(s).

All prices are shown in £’s sterling and include VAT at the applicable current rates.

Order Cancellation

Under the Distance Selling Regulations, you have a right to cancel your order for any item purchased on this website for a full refund.

To cancel, please email us (see Contact) within seven working days of delivery of your item(s), quoting your Receipt number. You must take reasonable care of the item(s) and must not use them. A full refund will be given when the returned product(s) are received by us and have been inspected, tested and passed.

Returns

We want you to be completely happy with the product(s) you buy from us.
However, please note that all our Ceramic Infrared Heat Lamps must be used with a ES27 Ceramic Bulb Holder conforming to BS EN 60238. This is essential to ensure the correct operation of the Heat Lamp during its life.

Returns within 7 days

In the unlikely event that you receive faulty or damaged product(s), please return it within 7 days, with a copy of your email Receipt. We'll usually offer you a replacement following an inspection and test of the returned item(s).

Returns after 7 days but within 2 years of purchase

All our Ceramic Infra red Heat Lamps are guaranteed for two years from date of purchase, providing they have been used for their intended purpose and installed correctly using An ES27 Ceramic Lamp Holder. 

Should a Lamp failure occur, please return the faulty item(s) with a copy of your email Receipt and we'll usually be able to give you a replacement following an inspection and test of the returned item(s).
This does not affect your statutory rights.

We ask you to pay for the cost of returning a product(s) to us and we will request a discretionary charge to cover administration, packing and delivery.
